“I chose to support AART because the reality is that when you invest in a child to instill a lifelong love of learning, you are investing in that child for the long run and possibly keeping that child from a life of hardship later.”

Alan Harter, Founder & Managing Director, Pactolus Private Wealth Management, LLC.

Our Mission

All Ages Read Together is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to educating children in need with free preschool programs in their communities.

We envision a future where all children, especially our most vulnerable, enter school prepared to learn and succeed. We strive for a future in which public education includes universal access to preschool, making the need for AART obsolete.

Our Program

Developing foundational skills before kindergarten, especially early literacy, is closely linked to long-term academic achievement, confidence in learning, and a lifetime of growth and success.

Our Impact

On average, 85% of AART graduates are considered school-ready based on AART’s Observational Assessment, which was developed using gold-standard practices from the Virginia Kindergarten Readiness Program (VKRP) and the Virginia Language and Literacy Screening System (VALLSS).

Our Credibility Verified

We’re proud to have our work recognized by respected charitable organizations. These badges reflect our ongoing commitment to integrity, transparency, and meaningful impact.

Support Us

It truly takes a village to support each child’s learning journey. At AART, we welcome volunteers eager to lend a hand, both in the classroom and behind the scenes, and we rely on the generosity of our community to provide students with the books, materials, and resources they need to thrive.

Thank You to Our Community Partners

We’re grateful to the local media and organizations who shine a light on AART’s mission and help share why early childhood education matters.
