AART is returning to participate in Alexandria’s premier fundraising event, Spring2ACTion, on April 9th.

All Ages Read Together (AART) is thrilled to announce its participation in Spring2ACTion on April 9th, 2025. Spring2ACTion, hosted by Alexandria’s community foundation, ACT for Alexandria, is Alexandria’s official digital day of giving. This 24-hour online event encourages Alexandria locals to support their favorite local charitable organizations that help make their community great.

AART is proud to provide books every week for students to read together in class and take home to help start their personal libraries. They are raising funds to provide critical books and learning tools for their students and teachers to supply their free and accessible preschool program.

Early giving begins March 26th and ends April 8th, and the day of giving takes place on April 9th. This year, AART is grateful to have a $4,000 match from the Mason Hirst Foundation and a $500 challenge gift, which they can unlock by achieving 20 donors by April 8th, before Spring2ACTion starts.

Early giving is open now, so AART encourages their community to get involved.

All Ages Read Together (AART) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to educating children in need with free preschool programs in their communities. We envision a future where all children, especially our most vulnerable, enter school prepared to learn and succeed. We strive for a future in which public education includes universal access to preschool, making the need for AART obsolete.
